Jennifer T., Danielle, Jordan, and Tiffany shared a pizza for lunch.  Jennifer T.  had 3/8 of the pizza, Danielle had 1/4 of the pizza and Jordan had 1/8 of the pizza.  How much pizza was left over for Tiffany?

Maggie and April are making creatures at the Create-a-Critter factory.  Maggie is making alligoats and April is making crocodogs.  They pack 4 alligoats and 8 crocodogs in each box.  There are 48 creatures in boxes, ready to be shipped.  How many alligoats and crocodogs have Maggie and April made?

Scott S. sees pictures of cats in the circles on the wall of  the old cave.  There are 17 cats  in circle A and 14 cats in circle B.  Seven of the cats are in both circles A and B.  How many cats are in the circles?

Kyle  saw 13 witches, 9 ghosts, 12 pirates, 17 bats, and 6 teachers at the Family Fun Night.  How many scary things did he see in all?

 

Danielle went trick or treating.  She got 12 M&M packages, 2 bananas, 6 suckers, 8 apples, 9 cookies and 1 doughnut.  How many candy items did she get?
