Kali  was looking at her Halloween candy.  She counted 17 suckers, 4 Snickers bars, 10 Milky Way bars, 7 Clark bars, 3 apples, and 1 doughnut.  How many candy bars did she have?

Jessica had 4 bags of candy that she bought for $1.50 a bag.  Each bag has 6 pieces of candy in it.  How many more bags does she need to buy to give each of her 25 classmates one piece?  How much will it cost?

Serena’s bank has $2.55 in nickels and dimes.  If it has 21 dimes, how many nickels does it have?

 

Some students in Mrs. McClerren's class played Monopoly.  Jennifer P. won the game.  Nancy placed ahead of  Scott S.  Ebony H. placed ahead of Nancy.  Who placed last?

 

Jenny B. had $4.00.  She bought four suckers that sold as two for 18 cents, two candy bars for 65 cents each, and a notebook for $1.46.  How much money did she get back?  How much money did she spend?

 

Marissa  and Scott C. collect hockey cards.  Marissa has 4 more than Scott.  Together they have 14.  How many does each one have?
