Constellation Project

You will need:

1. cardboard tube (from wrapping paper, foil wrap, etc)

2. a rubber band

3. One piece of black construction paper

4. Additional paper in your choice of colors

5. Star and other stickers/or crayons

6. Glue

Directions:

1. Cover tube with paper color of your choice and decorate with stickers or crayons.

2. Using the black construction paper cut out a circle with a 6-8 inch diameter.

3. In the center of the circle draw the points (stars) of the constellation (ie. The Big Dipper)

4. Use a pin or point of a sharpened pencil and punch a small hole through the drawn points.

5. Wrap the circle over the tube and secure with rubber band.

6. Look through the tube at the light and you will see your constellation.
