Toilet Paper Roll  Nativity Scene

Materials Needed: 

Toilet paper tubes,
 scraps of material,
 markers or crayons,
 yarn, 
rubber bands, 
glue

Directions: 

  1. Use a marker to draw a face on the tube.
  2.  Glue lengths of yarn on the top of the tube for hair.
  3. Add a beard if desired by cutting shorter lengths of yarn.
  4.  Cut a 6 inch square from scrap material for a headdress.
  5. Place the headdress on the head and put a rubber band around it. 
  6. Wrap another piece of scrap material around the lower part of the tube for a robe and put a rubber band around the top part to hold it in place. 
  7. Make as many as you need for your Nativity scene, and change the material that 
    you use for each one. 

Felt or tissue paper could also be used. You can also color the

tube instead of using material.
