Here is a list of common classroom needs. Below each item are two choices for how to meet the need. Circle the choice that would be the best way to conserve natural resources.

Match the natural resources to their products.

Identify each natural resource in the table as renewable or non-renewable. Sort the listed products according to the resource used to make them.

Introduce students to the "Three Rs" of Earth Day in a clear, simple lesson with easily understood examples and a sorting exercise.

Write in the blank next to each resource whether it is RENEWABLE or NON-RENEWABLE.
