Item Description
Report Form: Immigration Fact and Opinion (upper elem/middle) Choose a country from which people emigrate to the United States, research it, and then answer the fact (When was the first “wave” of immigrants to the United States from this country?) and opinion (If you lived in that country, would you immigrate to the United States?) questions.

Activity: Ellis Island Simulation Learning about Ellis Island? Bring the lesson to life with this activity, in which students play immigrants, interpreters, examiners, etc. Signs for the various stations (medical, etc.); instructions for examiners, and "documents" for immigrants to carry are all included.
