Item Description
All About Me - Beginning of School [member-created document] This sample was made with the abcteach shapebook tool. After each student fills in this information page, paste the pages on colored construction paper and hang them up on the wall so that pupils can get to know each other better.
Project: The Best Vacation Ever (upper elem/middle) This 16 page vacation planner is a great project to help students understand the process of planning and organizing a vacation. Whether plans are for a low-budget camping trip in a nearby state park, or a fantastic voyage to a faraway country, students will have fun planning budgets, etc., with this unit.
Shapebook: Address Information (Elementary) [member-created document] "Where do I live?" Trace and cut out. Trace and cut out. This house-shaped shapebook has prompts for students to answer about where they live.
Shapebook: Bucket and Shovel (Primary) [member-created document] Trace and cut out. This lined, bucket-shaped shapebook has a prompt for students to answer about the beach. ("When I go to the beach I like to...")
Shapebook: All About My School (primary) This school-shaped shapebook has short texts on each page ("This is my teacher"), and space for students to draw illustrations.
Shapebook: Bucket and Shovel (elementary) [member-created document] Trace and cut out. This elementary lined, bucket-shaped shapebook has prompts for students to answer about their favorite beach activities.
Shapebook: Winter Words (primary) [member-created with abctools] Cut out the snowman pattern for a great winter-themed shapebook, or use for a seasonal word wall. 28 pages, each with a different winter-themed word on the snowman's belly, with space for students to write or draw.
Writing Prompt: Spring Is... (elementary) Flower-shaped shapebook with nine pages of writing prompts like, "The best part about spring is..."
