Font Examples

abcteach now has a wide selection of fonts for use with all of our abctools, including many popular teaching fonts. The teaching font families include cursive fonts, ruled fonts, fonts with dotted letters, fonts with arrows showing strokes, outlined fonts, and fonts with various combinations of these features. Comic Sans MS - An informal font that looks like hand-written printing.
Courier - A common fixed width serif font.
EFI AB Cursive - A handwriting font based on the style shown in workbooks developed by A Beka Book, Inc.
EFI AB Manuscript - A manuscript font based on the style shown in workbooks developed by A Beka Book, Inc.
EFI DN Cursive - A cursive font in the style of D'Nealian®
EFI DN Manuscript - A manuscript font in the style of D'Nealian®
EFI HWT Cursive - A cursive font in the style of Handwriting Without Tears®
EFI HWT Manuscript - A manuscript font in the style of Handwriting Without Tears®
EFI LG Cursive - A handwriting font in the style of Loops and Other Groups©, designed to make cursive handwriting simple to learn

Helvetica - A common proportional sans-serif font.
Times Roman - A common proportional serif font.

These fonts can be used with our shapebook tool to create cursive documents or themed handwriting practice sheets. They can be used in our word walls to show words in a cursive font with rules and arrows, with specific character combinations highlighted. In fact, since these fonts are available in all of the tools, you can come up with your own creative and unique ways to make crosswords, word scrambles, math worksheets, or any other document type we have available.
