How do I resize and paste clipart into a document if I am using a PC?

new help topic

For PC users, here is what you do. These pictures are Clip Art. Clip Art is meant to be copied and pasted into a blank document or other document you are typing in where it can be resized to your liking. It must be resized and it can't be printed from the abcteach site.

Open Microsoft Word, or whatever word document you are putting the Clip Art picture into. To place clip art in your own document open the clip art piece that you want and double click on the title. (it can't be printed from this page) the image will show on your screen. At the top of your screen click on the word 'Edit' then click on 'Select All' and the clip art piece will be 'highlighted' in a blue box. Click on 'Edit' again and click on 'Copy.' The image must be highlighted or it won't Copy.

Next, open your Microsoft Word or whatever document you want to put the clip art into. Click on 'Edit' and then click on 'Paste' and your clip art image will appear in your document.

To resize the image, larger or smaller, place your mouse arrow on the picture and click the left mouse button one time. A box, with 8 tiny boxes, will appear around the Clip Art picture. Put your mouse arrow on one of the small 'corner' boxes and click your mouse button holding it down and dragging the mouse' to make the picture smaller or larger. Using the little corner boxes are the best choice for resizing as the other boxes will make the clip art picture either tall and skinny or wide and short.
