This is a 3 page template addressing the common core reading standards for first grade informational text; integration of knowledge and ideas. The emphasis is on integrating illustrations with text, to identify key ideas. Students must also identify the author's purpose and reasoning. Students must further compare two texts on the same topic. Common Core: ELA: RI.1.7-9
