Spelling Lists! A spelling list is a list of words presented to students for spelling practice and study. Each word is followed by a space in which to practice writing the word. The list is numbered, so that students may be tested on their spelling proficiency after a period of study. There may optionally be a word bank listing the words for study, and a test page that includes the numbers and writing spaces, but not the words themselves.
